Official Statement

Antonio Moreida is one of our neighbors, and I'm glad he's okay.

Nobody should fear being hit by a car on a Woodland street, and nobody should be scared to walk their kids to school, do their job, or go about their day. Woodland police are reviewing every angle. It's our duty to let them finish, follow the facts, and if anyone broke the law, hold them accountable.

Across our district, people want the same thing: safe homes, an immigration system that works, and our families making it home at night.
