Meet Eric

Eric Jones is a business builder, a nonprofit executive, a community leader, and a father.

He fought to live the American Dream — to overcome adversity & uplift his family, his community, and the economy.

Eric is running to represent California’s 4th Congressional District (CA-4) to give working families a stronger voice in Washington.

Eric comes from

a working-class family that lived the struggles so many in Northern California know well. His mother worked long hours as a nurse, caring for patients and supporting the family. His father, an immigrant and disabled veteran, taught him resilience, sacrifice, and the meaning of service to country.

They faced medical debt and struggled to make ends meet. There were times his family relied on food stamps, Medicaid, and disability checks.

From a young age, Eric saw both the dignity of hard work and the challenges that come when government fails to live up to its promises to ordinary people.

His values

are shaped by those childhood struggles.

He learned growing up that politics should be about lifting people up — not leaving them behind.

He learned that when families are forced to fight for basic necessities — affordable housing, healthcare, and well-paying jobs — it isn’t because people aren’t working hard enough.

It’s because, too often, the system doesn’t serve us.

In Northern California,

Eric lived the American Dream. He aspired to a better life — and realized it in California.

He built his career around problem-solving, coalition-building, and making our systems — healthcare, banking, technology — more accessible and inclusive.

Eric understands the challenges families in our district face — from skyrocketing housing costs and healthcare barriers to the growing threats of wildfire and drought.

Eric understands how Trump’s policies amplify the challenges our community faces. That’s why he and his wife Rachel have targeted their philanthropy where Trump has attacked: on healthcare, education, veterans, and the arts.

Eric understands the importance of dreaming big and bringing people up with us.

Eric believes

that government should work for people, not corporations.

That means ending tax breaks for corporations and closing unfair loopholes.

It means investing in small businesses and clean energy industries.

It means protecting public schools and ensuring affordable healthcare for all.

It means making our lives better, not making corporations more money.

A devoted father

and loving husband, Eric Jones is committed to leading by example and to giving his children — and all American children — a chance to grow up in a thriving community. They deserve safe downtowns and clean air.

To Eric, leading by example means leading with integrity: Eric will reject corporate PAC money, never take a dollar from a lobbyist, and never trade a stock in Congress.

Instead, Eric is building a people-powered movement that puts families — not corporate and special interests — at the center of policymaking.
