Meet Eric Jones
“My mother told me it would get better”
My mom was a nurse, working 60-hour weeks in rural Maine. My father was an opioid-addicted disabled veteran, asleep most nights in a recliner in the middle of our 750-square-foot home. Before I was 10, I was getting him out of that chair and into bed at 5 a.m., clearing the pill bottles, and making breakfast for myself. Our family relied on food stamps, Medicaid, disability checks, and the support of our church.
My mom told me I would build a better life than the one we had, and that this country would give me the chance.
She was right.
I went looking for scholarships, got out of our small town, and was the first in my family to go to college.
I took the best-paying job I could and helped my dad get better healthcare.
The moment I could, I moved out to California, and my wife, Rachel, joined me.
I helped grow a business and build companies. We identified talented people and solutions to modern problems, and then we deployed energy, resources, and dealmaking to these ideas we believed in. We created thousands of jobs. My focus was primarily in innovating healthcare models to expand access to care.
We were very successful. My kids will never see a stack of unpaid bills on a kitchen counter.
I lived the American Dream.
I'm raising two kids in Napa now, and I can't honestly promise them the same thing my mother promised me.
I'm running for Congress because I am so fed up with our government robbing us — you, your children, my children — of the future we deserve. They sit there, protecting their power, collecting corporate donations, and ignoring our needs. I'm running because I need to fight for our children's future and for the promise of America — and our current leaders are, at best, ignoring the task.
Nobody has earned a lifetime appointment in Congress just for showing up. I've signed a term limit pledge, I take no corporate PAC money, and I want a stock trading ban and an end to gerrymandering.
We deserve a government that works to improve our lives and better our future — not one that enriches itself and protects the power of its career politicians and megacorporations.
CA-4 is nine counties: Colusa, Lake, Napa, Placer, Sacramento, Sonoma, Sutter, Yolo, and Yuba. I'm running to fight for every voter in all nine counties.

Expanded Access to Healthcare for Seniors in Rural Communities
Worked directly with two Presidential administrations — of both parties — to pilot new healthcare models with the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), create new healthcare touchpoints in rural areas, and expand seniors’ access to healthcare in remote areas.
Delivered for Veterans and Their Families
Worked directly with veterans and California’s leading veterans’ service to connect them with earned benefits, healthcare access, housing assistance, and support services — making sure those who served our country receive the respect and resources they deserve.Protected Children Through Car Seat Distribution

Fight Corruption
Our government answers to corporations and donors — not to us. As an independent politician who will never take a dollar from a corporate PAC, special interest group, or foreign nation, Eric will fight to change that.
Key Policies:
Ban all corporate PAC money – ensure politicians are accountable to voters, not corporations
Ban members of Congress from trading stocks — no more insider trading or exploiting public service
Stop Big Pharma, insurance, and Big Tech from dodging taxes that they owe — the same ones we pay
12-year term limits — no more careers in Congress
End gerrymandering — everywhere
Take on PG&E — and the corrupt, establishment politicians that enable their abuse of our communities
Attack fraud, corporate corruption, and kickbacks — saving money from greed and unnecessary high prices

End PG&E's monopoly and lower your utility bills — reform, not new spending
Working Class Refund & Tax Cut — paid for by ending corporate tax dodging and fraud
Expand Medicare to cover vision, dental, hearing, and in-home care — paid for by Medicare drug-price negotiation
Lower prescription drug costs — paid for by the same negotiated savings
Make rent tax-deductible — paid for by closing corporate real-estate loopholes

Eric will protect what matters — our water, our land, our family farms, our financial wellbeing, and our ability to own a home.
Key Policies:
Balanced budget — every new program comes with a way to pay for it, funded by ending fraud and corporate tax dodging, not by more borrowing
No more funding of unnecessary foreign wars — we must protect our allies abroad, but we must end our funding and enabling of unnecessary death and destruction
Invest in California's water infrastructure now — clean, affordable water should go to our communities, our farms, and our homes
Protect family farms and conserve our public lands — lean into subsidies for the family farms that power our community
First-time homebuyer zero-dollar down mortgage — help young renters become homeowners by eliminating the largest barrier
Build 2 million homes a year — increase supply, ease the housing shortage, and lower costs
Congressional District CA-04
California’s new 4th Congressional District stretches from parts of Sonoma County through Napa and into the Northern Sacramento Valley, covering communities across Yolo, Colusa, Sutter, and Yuba Counties, with a small portion of Lake, Placer, and Sacramento Counties. It’s a district made up of farming and vineyard communities, small towns, and growing families — all facing shared challenges around affordability, housing, wildfire resilience, and the need for leaders who put people before corporations.
I’m running for Congress because the American Dream is slipping away for too many families.
Everything costs more while corporations and politicians look the other way.
I’ve spent my career building businesses that lowered health care costs, expanded opportunity, and helped people get ahead — and I refuse to let a broken system stand in the way of our future.
My campaign is about three things:
fighting corruption, lowering costs, and protecting our future.
End the corruption, and we can lower costs. Lower costs, and we can protect the future our kids deserve.
