  • Smart-grid technologies to prevent outages and detect potential hazards before they become disasters.

  • Programs to support local governments and communities in wildfire prevention and emergency preparedness.

Protecting Families and Businesses Across the District

  • Napa and Sonoma Counties: Protect vineyards, small farms, and tourism-driven businesses from repeated fire threats.

  • Yuba, Sutter, and Colusa Counties: Shield rural families and agricultural communities where power infrastructure is aging and wildfire risk is high.

  • Yolo and Placer Counties: Ensure mountain and foothill communities have reliable, safe energy and emergency support.
