Fulfilling Our Obligation to Veterans

Our nation has a sacred obligation to care for the men and women who served in uniform. That obligation doesn’t end when service does. It means making sure veterans can access quality health care, mental health support, housing, education, and good-paying jobs — and that no veteran is left behind.

Eric comes from a military family and understands that service is not just a chapter in someone’s life — it’s a lifelong commitment. Keeping our promise to veterans is not a partisan issue. It’s a moral one.

The Challenge Veterans Face Today

Too many veterans face unnecessary barriers after they come home:

  • Long wait times and gaps in VA health care

  • Rising rates of PTSD, suicide, and untreated mental health conditions

  • Housing instability and homelessness

  • Difficulty translating military skills into civilian careers

  • Bureaucratic systems that delay benefits veterans have earned

We can — and must — do better.
