Eric Jones Launches 20-City “New Day Tour” Across Northern California’s New 4th Congressional District
NAPA, Calif. — With the passage of Proposition 50 reshaping congressional boundaries across Northern California, Eric Jones today announced a 20-city “New Day Tour” to connect with voters across the new 4th Congressional District — spanning from Napa and Sonoma to Davis, Lincoln, and Yuba City.
The first stops will include Lincoln, Yuba City, Marysville, and Petaluma — all new parts of CD4 under the maps approved by voters on Tuesday. CD 4 changed more than almost any other district in California. Roughly 48 percent of the voters in the District under the new map were in a different congressional district in the last election.
Jones, a father, business builder, and first-time congressional candidate, said the tour represents a fresh start for the region and a chance to bring “new energy, new ideas, and a different kind of leadership that actually listens.”
“I’ve met so many folks who just want government to work again – parents looking for affordable housing, seniors stretched thin by rising costs, and workers fighting to stay ahead,” Jones said. “This campaign is about listening, learning, and building real solutions together.”
During the “New Day Tour,” Jones will hold listening sessions, community events, and small business roundtables to discuss key local priorities — including the high cost of living, housing and homelessness, healthcare and jobs.
Unlike his opponent, Jones’ campaign is not funded by corporate PACs or special interests. The campaign is powered by individual supporters who share his belief that government should reflect the people it serves.
“This is a grassroots effort built by people who believe in the promise of this region,” Jones added. “We’re building a movement that leads with hope, not politics.”
