Napa, CA – Eric Jones, the business leader and philanthropist running for Congress in California’s 4th District, announced today that his campaign raised $1.1 million in the first 24 hours after launching his Congressional bid. The stunning early support underscores the political energy behind Jones’s insurgent candidacy and his message of putting working families ahead of Washington insiders.
The total does not include any contributions from Jones to his own campaign.
The campaign attributes the rapid fundraising success to strong enthusiasm for Jones’s campaign message, fighting for economic fairness, taking on entrenched politicians, complacency and ineffectiveness in Washington, and offering an unapologetic critique of Donald Trump and his destructive and divisive policies.
